In early 2015 Hianloland Fire Company implemented a plan to provide its volunteer members a wellness program at no charge as a way to stay in shape and be better prepared for any fire or rescue calls.
From there, various Officers collaborated to establish a functional workout program revolving around strength, cardiovascular and functional movements related to the fire and rescue service.
Since early 2017 CrossFit Hianloland has been in existence at Hianloland Fire Companys Station 1, open to all of its members. Lieutenant Studley provides programming, related advice to the departments members on a weekly basis through one on one instruction and group training.
Due to the nature of the CrossFit affiliation, CrossFit Hianloland is available solely to the active, sworn members of Hianloland Fire Company. To learn more about joining Hianloland Fire Company click here!
